Well making it possible to be ported should be considered tho
I wasn't asking for easy.
It's also possible Valve can just make a Half-Life 1 in Source 2 and not use anything from Crowbar's Black Mesa. Or Valve could make its own take on Black Mesa without using anything from Crowbar's version.
We just have to wait and see what the future holds. Provided if Valve just doesn't up and do Half-Life Alyx 2 followed by Alyx 2 Episode 1 and Alyx 2 Episode 2 first. <.<
they've been working on this game for a very long time and i'd imagine they want to make at least one game of their own and not basically cover another artist's song before they die
I already have trouble believing valve could do something like that as is, that has to be out of the cards for crowbar collective. their probably too busy working on their next project to even bother with an undertaking that big.
keep in mind... so hard.

Valve doesnt hand out source 2 licences to just anyone, so even if they DID port this to source 2 they wouldn't be able to turn a profit from it and the game would be limited to just running on s&box.
We also have to take into account that black mesa runs on a HEAVILY modified version of the source engine, probably even moreso than CS:GO so it would be more than just a simple port.
