Game crash at HEV suit pick up!
Hi everyone!

Black Mesa always crashes when i pick up the HEV suit at Anomalous Materials (Chapter 2), already tried different graphics settings including setting everything to low, my OS and drivers are all updated to most recent versions.
Sadly the only way i found to get around this is to skip the entire Anomalous Materials chapter...

Hope a fix is on the way.

What language do you have in game menu?
It seems like there is odd bug in game related to boot.txt file and only in english seems working fine.

I have Portuguese menus, but they came as default when i first ran the game, gonna try and change them to English to see if it fixes this issue...

I had the same issue, changed the language of Steam Client to english (restarted Steam client), entered the game, loaded a quicksave done before pressing the button to release the HEV suit and then I was able to pick up the HEV suit without the game crashing.

I also have the same crash, and I also have portuguese menus. Gonna try and change the language.

EDIT: It worked. Had to change Steam Client to English also.
