Nihilanth Boss fight impossible??????

I am on 8 health and cannot beat the phase where he say's "die now" I get no health, and no shield anywhere and I am not about to reload the save to Interloper because It starts me at the beginning of that long garbage ass elevator section and I don't have the patience.

The final boss can be beaten, but if you went into the fight not properly armed, the final boss will be a pain. The Black Mesa scientists will teleport you care packages and some supply caches from elsewhere in or by Black Mesa will teleport in as well.

You just need to focus on using your long jumps to dodge attacks and attack the head when it's clear to do so. If the boss summons healing crystals, you need to destroy them with explosives as soon as possible.

Eventually Nihilanth will enclose the arena and start increasing its attacks. Utilize cover (the boss can destroy it, so be aware), use long jumps to dodge attacks, and during the whole battle, Black Mesa scientists will send you care packages and some extra caches will also be available. There will be four spots you can heal and rearm at, but once you've used the four spots up, that's it.

Keep unloading everything you can at the head until it splits open and then get your final shot in!

1, destroying the three crystals

2, bringing down the shield and damaging the boss

3, the boss healing with his three crystals

4, the boss getting mad, shrinking the arena, and tossing out waves of attacks

5, the boss's head opening and you have to shoot the brain

I think those are the main sections -- which bit are you on?

I believe there should be some care packages scattered around the perimeter that have some health and suit energy, are you able to find any of those? I know they definitely have ammo for weapons.

Also, if things get too bad, you could just start the Nihilanth chapter from the main menu maybe? You probably unlocked it by starting the fight.

The boss was far more difficult during the Xen beta phase.
Got nerfed a lot.
I've even been able to beat it without taking any damage, even though that was pure luck as my previous recording was so bad that I restarted the level just to produce this outcome.
