gameinfo.txt Problem

So... i've been going after this for hours, trying to play Blue Shift, and it just shows me an error message, saying ''Setup file 'gameinfo.txt' doesn't exist in the subdirectory 'bshift'. Check your -game parameter or VCONFIG setting.'' Please, someone help!

Where did you place the blue shift files exactly?

When I subscribed they were already there, underneath licenses and platform. There was also a seperate folder in workshop.

And did you read the workshop page where it specifically states that you gotta run the installation file in the workshop folder after you download it? After you do that, you go to the game files and launch blue shift with a shortcut from your desktop.

yes, I did run the installation file, 2 shortcuts were made, and both of them keep saying the same error message every time i try to open them, I've also tried to use the launch options, but that doesn't seem to work either.

Delete the workshop folder files related to blue shift and re-subscribe, then wait for it to download fully (you can track it on the downloads page). Run bshift_uninstall bat from the downloaded files, then run the bshift_install one.

You ever figure this out?

Go to stram settings for game try validating if that doesn't work go to start up options, instead of +game bshift do directx

i deleted the files for the mod and i resubscribed but the installation files dont show up anymore
