Help. Gluon Gun. Where is it? Stuck for months.

So I have been stuck for months at the Dam with the Helicopter, and died hundreds of times.

I have no gluon gun. If thats what I need (to end the Copter).

Where tf is it? As I have gone back a level and it isn`t there either.

Google searches only give clues to the version from over 10 years ago.

You could not get here without the Tau Cannon, the large shed on the right side, before the damn has ammo for it along with health and shield chargers. if for some reason you don't have it, which would be strange, restart the level from the New Game menu.

I got here (the Dam) without the Tau Cannon being/staying in my inventory, if I ever had it (I dont recall what it is), I dropped it?
Maybe I used it a few levels back and lost it or something... I dont know the weapon at all (and maybe assumed any weapon I ran out of ammo for, would be found again further on): I dont know.

I know about the shed, I have been in it over a hundred times; and have swam with the killer fish just as much. There is no Tau Cannon, but there is ammo for it (x2) in that shed.

I just have a Pistol, Shotgun and a bit of Machine gun, and two explosives.. & full health. But that Heli, splats me in seconds.

I guess I need to know what level the Tau Canon can be found at.

It's in Questionable Ethics. You hear a fun scripted sequence where a Guard blows up himself and a scientist with it. You must have not picked it up.

If you restart the current level from the New Game menu it should appear on your inventory.
You get it in the level where you perform experiments on the aliens, Questionable Ethics.
I had no idea you could skip not picking it up. Thanks Chon.

Thats the level I went back to before, and searched for half an hour.

Is there a specific place where it is? I still cant find it, because although I searched every inch I could think of, I really dont know where to get it.

There is a tunnel area and a building with some trucks & parking outside... Drop a clue?

Ok... I had apparanlty repeatedly gone to the latter part of "Questionable Ethics", and (obviously) the latter part of that map where you are locked out of the (earlier) part of the map you kindly provided images of.

I will go back to an even earlier level save.

This is a reason why i dropped it, when it was a free mod btw. I feel myself so stupid being unable to find gun you need to proceed forward lol

You don't need it to proceed, you can just run away even on hard.
