Gordon Freeman vs Adrian Shepard
a Scientist who destroyed Nihilanth and the Combine by himself, and also a hope figure to everyone (Resistance) vs a Marine with training who fought against Race X aliens.

Let the debate begin.

But nope, because Valve never acknowledges Shephard's existance, they made Gordon Freeman's status in Half-Life 2 as if he became the Master Chief of the game.

Way better than having a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ one-sided, biased Death Battle.
Yep, that's the sad truth my my good sir. :c
And ironically they acknowledge Barney's existance despite Gearbox made Blue Shift.

Yep, looks like it was only a friends only thing no enemys, despite shepard doing what he could. Pity.

Dear lord please don't make this a ScrewAttack: Death Battle crap topic.

I'd rather have them friends and work together against the Combine.
I think If Shepard and Gordon ever met after the black mesa incident they probably would have worked together to stop the combine. (Depending on what happend during the first decade after the Disaster)

Gman putted Gordon in a Stasis, he's nowhere on Earth that time. know that into from Half-Life 2? Gordon just appeared on the train without getting in, that guy on the train said when you interact with him. he'll say "I didn't see you get on"

Adrian Shepard isn't on stasis since Gman putted him "somewhere" safe. I'm sure Adrian fought against the Combine on the Seven Hour War c:

I hope your right, it would be a bloody pity if shepard was just some useless piece of ♥♥♥♥ that hunders of thousands of people dont give a ♥♥♥♥ for ._.

But you know Valve right? Shephard is like Noble Six in Halo Reach or The Rooke in Halo 3: ODST (appearing one game), while Gordon Freeman is basically Master Chief status.

Ah, I see I've actually never played halo before, but I think I know what your saying.

No team barney?

Anyway there's more reason to give freeman credit because he kicked ass in half life 2 and its episodes as well (and saving humanity) while shepard only kicked asses in Half Life 1 (but he's still good because he fought more Black Ops and Race X which are more difficult than most half life enemies at black mesa) but still, if shepard is playable on more games than just opposing force, he will be kicking ass as much as gordon.

Or let have him some seperate episodes where he just rescues some humans and escapes with them. Gordon Freeman is already Master Chief status.

I love how you ask this on a Half Life forum. Of course you'll get more Gordans :P

I'm going with Shepard!

It's like asking in Halo Waypoint forums, and the answer you'll get from Noble Six vs. Master Chief is, well obviously Master Chief.

Or the same thing from the Doom forums.

It would be interesting though if Shepard was pulled from stasis, let's just say post-Half-Life 1 but pre-Half-Life 2. Nobody would know who you are, and you'd see the events that lead up to HL2. A problem is, why would G-Man take you out of stasis in the first place.

Because duh, GMan might probably give Shephard a mission during that time. Much like Gordon
