Stuck in Xen explosives room

I cant leave the room. I've taken the cable from the ceiling and plugged it into the other room (2 sockets next to eachother) but any explosion still affects the bombs outside the blast door, instakilling me anyway?

sooner or later you will find out in which row you have to plug the switches to close yourself out from getting involved in the explosions with a little bit of timing. its no so hard to find out what to do. A satchel or a nade will do it. no more spoiler from here on.

Resolved, as I suspected it was a bug. I was using satchels, they were too powerful so they would destroy the explosives on either side of the blast door (explosive radius would go through the walls), a grenade worked though.

Ive used both satchel charges and grenades, they both work perfectly fine for me.
