Laser Immunization won't trigger

I am about completely sick of replaying Interloper to get this achievement. I have done a ton to try and better my chances of getting it (clean slate install with all saves/everything deleted, no saving of any kind, reset achievement command, etc.). I've played through it fair about a dozen times with guaranteed no damage, if I did happen to get damaged I outright restarted. I've also tried cheesing these last couple of times but no matter what I do I can't get this one achievement. What do? I know many just get the achievement but its not working for me and my sanity is slipping away

I had success with starting a new game at interloper and going from there. Also you can't take damage from any laser(not just the ones in the "laser puzzles"). Like the ones in the elevator shaft when the controllers attack.

So I've read. I've started Interloper over from the beginning (so many times, I know the level way more than I want to) and from a map command, I've even gone so far as to replay the angry gonad level and go all the way up to the end of Interloper and nothing has worked. I'll take a break and give it another shot, but it's very frustrating to know the LAST achievement I have to get is buggy

Well I wish you luck, that must be frustrating to be stuck at 49 of 50. Maybe you should record your next attempt and show us/devs if it doesn't work again.
