Is the Gargantua Achievement broken?

[Ganymede]

I've now gone through the entire Gargantua Lair twice without taking any damage at all. No achievement.

I fell down some holes and had to reload, but the achievement says nothing about not falling. It specifically says no damage taken from Gargantuas.

Reloading breaks the achievement from what it seems. You have to do it in one go without saving/loading.

in the console instead of re-loading the save. it should work fine this way (its how i tried for this cheevo)

Yep, it's definitely broken. I just did the whole thing in one go twice without taking any damage at all. I went all the way to the factory both times. No achievement.

I'd try typing ACHIEVEMENT_RESET BMS_DECATHLON_WIN to the console to see if it works or not.

What build are you on? I was playing on the public beta channel and literally couldn't get it to unlock even though I did it flawlessly several times. I then switched to the main stable release and tried again from before the river starts and creates an auto save and unlocked it in my 1st try. It was the last achievement I unlocked because it was giving me so much trouble.

Okay, I managed to get it. Was playing through the game from the beginning again and managed to beat it on my first try.

Apparently you can't reload at all, even if you saved well before the race even starts.

Glad you got it. Yeah that's what it seems like, you have to start well before the Gargantua race and get it in one go. You might have to Main Menu out and go back in.

this is why i suggested to reload from the start of that map with the console command, its known that you cant reload to get it

I think I fixed it that way also. Or, at least I had to begin again from before a certain point well before you drop down into the area for the chase. I'm pretty sure I did that command.
