Stuck on a wire puzzle in XEN

This is the puzzle that should activate the third blue crystal laser.

The long cable is attached to the ceiling and left-most socket it's locked in place so I assume it's right. After that, I would connect the middle and right ones together but I can't plug it into the right one. There are loose wires with sparks coming out of the right one so I guess it's broken. I can't for the life of me find a solution. I didn't find the answer anywhere else. So I'd appreciate it if anyone knows the solution.

Thanks! I had already reloaded once before and it didn't work so I thought it couldn't be a bug but it seems that the bug just happened twice in a row. Worked fine now that I reloaded for the third time.

i plugged it into the right one and nothing is happening please help

I plugged the long cable into the Top and Left outlets and connected the Middle and Right socket with the short cable. I posted a screenshot on my profile.
