Less Than Desirable Consequences Achievement Not Working

I tried jumping into the AMS Beam and died but didn't get the Achievement.
I see that other people have gotten it but I don"t how.

Before starting the experiment, try lowering your health to about 40-50 points by falling from the platform a few times. After that, push the button to start the AMS and fall down to reduce your health even further to about 10-20 points. After that just go into the beam.

I also faced this problem, try not to take energy in the locker room (where is the HEV suit), it helped me.
