.357 magnum location?

im in blast pit at this point and im pretty sure i should have the 357 by now. does anyone know where it is? google was no help.

It should be after you kill the tentacles, when you drop into the shaft.

yeah, the change is just part of the beta 1.0, it's rather recent.

I found it. You now get it at the bottom of the rocket shaft after burning the tentacle monster.
