cinematic mod weapons or weapon zoom mod?

I got to the the part where I get the assault rifle and meet the first soldiers. It feels pretty hard to get a decent fight with it at more range than few meters cause no zoom and the soldiers move like crazy
Would it be possible to use the cinematic mod weapons for this game or make a mod for zoom with all weapons on workshop?

Hmm well guess I have to go lower than black mesa difficulty then. Still not a fan of weapons dont have zoom :S Was hoping that there is a mod for this :(

doesn't the revolver have aim down sights feature?
