Black textures
Textures for all maps are gradually becoming black. I've verified my cache, reinstalled, went through all the qualities for light and model and textures...I don't have any mods in place and I'm not on beta.

I'm not terribly familiar with console, but I looked at it and there were a lot of error lines in this format:

No such variable "$(material name)" for material "_ _ _ error"

I don't know if that has anything to do with the textures, and I'm kinda lost. Help, please?

Add these commands to game launch options:

-force_vendor_id 0x10DE -force_device_id 0x1180 -dxlevel 95

Remove "-dxlevel 95" after you close the game or your settings will reset every time you run the game.

Here's how to add commands to the launch options
Right-click on the game title under the Library in Steam and select Properties.
Under the General tab click the Set launch options ... button.
Enter the launch options you wish to apply (be sure to separate each code with a space) and click OK.
Close the game's Properties window and launch the game.

I don't have any mods and this is my first time talking about a problem like this, so what exactly should I include in specs?

Because the person trying to help you can help you better. They aren't trying to steal your soul.

I know? I wasn't asking why they needed my specs, I just wanted to know what to include in my specs.

FYI
When someone asks for your specs they generally want to know 4 things
The operating system
The cpu
The gpu
The ram
If they need more into than that they should clarify what they want.

Example
OS Windows 8.1
cpu AMD Ryzen 3 1200
gpu Nvidia GTX660
ram 6gb

Fix worked for me.
Before it looked like this:
https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/1017194020627974093/FE1001F2C8F3CAFCC0D83976C7854CD7372F4937/
Also, in dark places (eg. vents) the flashlight did not work. Which is iritating now, I thought this is by design. I needed to go to youtube after long trying to find the exit.
I hope this is fixed still, it would seem that reducing DX level will have a lot of bad implications.

Windows 10
Intel NUC7i5 (Iris GPU)
