Can yoou outrun Gurg with hat and pizza without bugs?

I did every other part fair and square, but i have no idea how to carry pizza and hat fair here.

P.S.
Please tell me, that you can throw both items in Xen portal, and you don't have to actually jump with them to transport them.

Update: never mind, I did it just then after putting it on Easy. If I hadn't of fumbled with the items a couple times slightly I would've had a bit more health but it seems like it'd be nearly, if not outright impossible on Hard.

You can actually make it on your reflexes alone on easy?
I tried. And got deep fried in the process.
Even when i played "the floor is lava" style, i still survived with only 2 hp.

Now i have an epic Xen pizza and hat torture foreshadowing. And i'm not happy about that.

As I recommended, rather play Interloper and Nihilanth twice.
Once with hat and once with pizza.
Simply make a manual save at start. ;)

I wouldn't ever think about torturing myself that much and I was one of the first people who played through the game with the purple hat. XD

It's also beyond me how you want to get the Pizza and the Purple Hat through the teleporter puzzle in Lambda Core. oO

As the matter of fact, Lambda Core ain't THAT hard. I nailed it with around 20 tries.

By the way, I would be careful playing these achievements right now.
Every update may break your savegames and you have to restart the chapter from scratch.
I am not sure if the hat and pizza are saved on a chapter restart. oO

I thought about that. That would be a REAL bugger, if they will disappear from all of my saves. Happy thoughts, happy thoughts.

That's the reason why I still wait for V1.5 or the so-called "Definitive Edition" where the devs are hopefully happy with their fixes and stop updating.

I've done this first run, mention above, with both pizza and hat. Back then thought it was a pain...
Then I had to do similar runs in the Gonarch Lair - TWICE! First time when encountering a dead body in a little cave with two entrances. Had to carry one item at the time, then make a circle all way up and bring another one down...

Then just prior the final fight with Gonarch - there's a long passage with a cobweb bridge that burns down if you not faster than the fire trail... I spent like 2hrs there, experimenting with throws and catch.

Spent an hour this afternoon, solving the abyss in the very beginning of Interloper - managed to send the pizza with random riffle grenade explosion.

Now! I'm puzzled how to take both items across the Gargantua chase.

Ohh.. in that case I better split my run in two D:

@Cirno, you can do it!
Do little sprint with one item, throw it, quickly come back for another. Before the Gargantua shows up, launch either to the furthest left side.

You can also do as many saves as you wish, so when you think your health is too low, load and try again.

I wonder if you can teleport the Pizza and the Hat with the gas tank.
They definitely should implement that, if not.

If you refer to the white round teleport in the cave - then no. I've tried it.

Did you brought the gas tank?
As the teleporter is only working if you have the gas tank.


On the other side... The teleporter moves stuff onto another map.
So I think the items which get teleported have to be programmed somehow to arrive there.
Chances are high that the hat and the pizza is not included. :(


I remember Half-Life 2.
When you got to Dr. Kleiner's lab there was a teleporter with which you could play around.
Teleporting EVERYTHING you lay on it (books, a cactus, ...).

Would be cool if that would work in a similar way here, but the trigger for the teleporter is the gas tank.

Yeah, I brought all three items. Gas tank was the only thing which teleported. I was kinda sad by that :D

Слушай, если тебе это показалось сложным, то представь что тебя будет ждать в логове гаргантюа в ксене, я прошел и это был настоящий ад. Вот только все равно в конце интерлупера я столкнулся не проходимой проблемой, быть может ты сможешь пройти, но пока не пофиксят вентиляции, и тот этам с 8 прыжковыми платформами я не думаю что возможно донести оба предмета(((
