H.E.V. suit problems

I have problems with the HEV suit in main campaing! It's changed to the HECU skin and I don't know how to change it back. Also there is no sound notifications from the suit when I pick up energy cells or take a lot of physical damage. What should I do?

It's because you have some old mods. Do a clean install. Every mod you had, with few exceptions, is broken now that the game's been updated, because of the source engine's limitations, anyway.

Your best bet is to make sure you've unsubscribed from all mods, deleted the relevant BMS folders, and then uninstall/reinstall your game.

Also, if you installed mods or did some custom tampering outside the workshop, steam itself can't uninstall, or even touch, the files that it didn't put there. It's a common problem in the new Vegas community and SF4. If you still see the wrong hands, wipe the install directory manually.
