There have been no official release dates for the non-beta 1.0 release yet.
I strongly advise getting a life. Must be boring sitting around completely useless doing nothing but waiting for a game.
Even though I am quoting a segment that got changed over the time of development, they only officially said that it will be out in early 2020.
The mid of 2020 would start in June, so there is still plenty of time to meet their announcement.
May would be close to the mid of 2020, but I still go on early 2020 with that one.
Hell I can't even believe it's the end of February again.
Like tomorrow is Christmas again.
Don't know what you guys do, but I have a dayjob and lots of other interests than waiting for Black Mesa's final release like crazy. XD
Furthermore, I won't even go for V1.0 but rather V1.5 Definitive Edition.
Yet they previously announced a V1.5 called the "Definitive Edition". No one knows when that one comes, but I still hope for this year.
They stated that it will simply be an update that tunes very minor rough spots and art, nothing large. It won't be as big as tuning art for Earthbound in 1.0, just very minor things.
The name still sticks.
I call it Definitive Edition, similar as I call it Franken-Engine.
And as far as I can read, it sounds very promising, especially the WorkShop part. :)
