The game just got a bunch of new achievements. Considering the recent addition of Xen, I imagine the game is going to be out of early access any day now?

Did this happen today or it's been days since the achievements changed?

Ha! I was just checking my list of 100% games, from top to bottom, when spotted Black Mesa got expanded amount of them. Cool!

I'll have to assume it happened just some couple hours ago, if even that.

About an hour. Back then I was in Walking Dead with 79 games 100%, when the count dropped to 78.

So with "the Rarest Specimen" achievement, you have to take the hat from the start of the game ALL the way to the end of Xen?

Yes, by doing it you can unlock them.

I suspect what he's asking is that they won't be obtainable even when required conditions are reached i.e. "Late for Work" still remains locked, although a player beats Nihilanth in under 4 minutes.​

Added: just checked on few of my friends, highly addicted to achievements hunting, they played Black Mesa yesterday, yet none of them got any of the new achievements.
