Fast/Poison Zombies on Xen?
I read (and tried) that you can actually spawn Fast and Poison Headcrabs through console. Since there are 2 Houndeye types not appearing on Earth, could Fast and Poison Headcrabs appear on Xen? Personally, I would really love to see the high-resolution faces of the Fast and Poison Zombies.

Actually the fast and poison headcrabs was a normal headcrab but bioengineered by the combine.

So i can say there's no chance of the devs to add them to xen levels

Yeah I heard some people theorize that, but there doesn't seem to be a concrete proof? Here's a quote from Combine Overwiki:

"It is unknown whether Poison Headcrabs are a natural subspecies never encountered on Xen or a result of Combine genetic manipulation of the Classic Headcrab for use as weapons in Headcrab Shells. "

The Fast Headcrab's page said that they could be a recent mutation, or they could just be Headcrab variants but never shown in HL1 because of engine limitations. Also might I add, the Black Mesa forum user that realized the 2 Headcrab variants exist said "they're added", so the devs didn't just accidentally put them there while porting Source assets.
Maybe harzard equipped zombie suits could cause poison since hazard suit is powered nuclear energy. But fast zombies I can't think in anything that fit in the schematic.

There is an hev zombie in works, but it still identified as normal zombie not poison

Yeah, what I meant was HL2-style Poison and Fast Zombies, remastered, and wearing scientist suits instead of rebels.

Maybe someone with great enthusiasm might work on a reskin of these HL2 zombies and add them to HL time. It wouldn't be a bad idea.....only is left is...the will to step forward and make it work.

It would be an excellent pleasure. Especially have the Fast Zombies hanging around the swamp areas, stalking the player between the extensive areas.
And even if they do not make it official, hopefully someone will try to augment these enemies through a mod.

Maybe Antlion will be added. That would be great!

The devs has said multiple times that there won't be any Antlions. Though a small cameo would be nice.

Probably none of the "new" Half-Life 2 NPCs are going to appear in Black Mesa due to copyright and Valve owning them.

I thought Valve "authorized" them? They used the exact same Barnacle and Headcrab, and the Slave Vort (different sounds tho).

Yes, they used some assets, but I don't think they are authorized to use Half-Life 2 lore/story elements, though.

I'll admit I would love to see fast and poison zombies, nevertheless.

Please link to your Source that states Crowbar Collective cannot use lore and story.

I said Half-Life 2 lore, not Half-Life lore as a whole. The developers need to give us an official response about the HL2 elements, for I'm only a follower of the franchise.

The developers are re-imagining the original Half Life. They have free reign to add any lore or story they want.
But since they are re-imagining the original Half Life I am pretty sure that's what they will be sticking with.
