There's also a woman who stays alive in the meat freezer, would have been great to be able to escort her out once you clear the way back to the survivors in the cafeteria.
Oh right, totally forgot about the guy with his makeshift radio who tells you about the soldiers arriving, who's in the small room under the massive stairs that are usually loading areas. I'm assuming he too stays alive in the game (well, not when the soldiers would hypothetically find him, but that's not my problem as the game has me far away by then :v) to the end of office complex.
There is ONE, who opens you a door to a small security office, but those are exceptions.
I try to resuce as much as I can in office complex, but they mostly run around and even jump into the shooting line of security guards. oO
Guess some of them simply can't take it anymore... There is only one scientist who is really badass and that one is played by you.
Scientists need to learn how to use Guns anyway because they will eventually become part of the Freedom Fighter Resistance opposing the Combine later on in Half-Life 2.
