Not sure which cfg has keyboard/mouse info, I'm not at my computer so I can't look them up.
But you can, use https://notepad-plus-plus.org/ or something similar to view the files.
But there's more than one and the config.cfg is being changed while starting the game.
Just deleting it should solve the problem...
Several commands within the config.cfg file get changed as soon as the game is started.
A Problem many players had to use a 'workaround' for years now to be able to have several settings 'locked' into their config.cfg.
But that's another story...for another day ;-)
Maybe I'm not seeing it. As long as I don't tab out too long, free mouse look works. Pause for too long and no free look when I come back.
