I've checked the value there
Even if they revert it back you are still able to increase the max ammo to anything you like. :)
I just recently discovered the possibilities there mainly for others.
As I am either happy with their balancing so far. :)
Glock:
Original: 17/250
Black mesa: 17/150
Revolver:
Original: 6/36
Black mesa: 6/12 (soon maybe 6/18)
Mp5:
Original: 50/250
Black mesa: 30/150
Shotgun:
Original: 8/125
Black mesa: 8/64
Crossbow:
Original: 5/50
Black mesa: 5/10
Now I understand this is because weapons in BM are stronger than the ones in original half life. So no critisizm from me :D
I haven't played the original in ages, except starting it once for recording the Lambda core fight.
It is far more challenging in Black Mesa, but I really like that. :)
