It wouldn't be a very fun game if we had to watch Gordon slowly learn how to use each new weapon. Or alternatively, if he could only use the Crowbar, MP5 and Glock!
While he could probably apply some basic knowledge to the glock, there's still no reason why he knows how to use the gluon gun or the hivehand
but everyone knows that he learned how to use a crowbar and machine guns in the Innsbruck mafia
..But the Hivehand
I know that he could figure out where to put his hand, but how does he fire it?
Unless it's as simple as fisting the thing into submission, the Alien Grunts were doing some special ♥♥♥♥ Gordon would never know.
Actually, have you ever seen Freeman's Mind on Accursed Farms channel on YouTube? It's basically, a playthrough of HL 1 with voice acting (as the voice of Freeman). If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it as it's very entertaining. But anyhow, when Freeman encounters that thing, he just leaves it, because he has no idea what it is haha. It's just gross. He's like, "eww I'm not touching that..."
It's actually a new federal regulation. To assure proper use of weapons, a full understanding of mechanics, engineering and physics must be acquired for any operator of a handgun. Otherwise people might try looking down the barrel or something.
no, you're right, that's what I mean O_O
