Stuck at end of Surface Tension, Help!!!
So I am stuck towards the end of Surface Tension, I used this BM Source youtube guide a couple times when I got stuck for an extended period of time of like 30 mins, but it appears that Black Mesa I am playing is different to this source version?

After here on the video it appears to be quite different for quite some time? https://youtu.be/Q4n20Ws2g0s?t=2h31m

That or there are alternate paths? He turns up the stairs and goes through a vent before falling through and a big monster scene as where im a good 15-20 mins past that with completely different areas and no big monster. I noticed right after he kills it "forget about freeman" begins

This is where I am , got annoying snipers after me with no rockets to kill and Ive tried every door at least i think multiple times.

Steam dosnt want to upload them to cloud half the time so imgur

Its a bit past the vent that breaks and such, this big open area you stumble upon a battle where theres a tank right infront of you below for a free kill, while your start up in the side of a building with part of the side blown off and you jump down.

About last year, the chapter surface tension received a massive extension. The garg chase got moved to the end, and instead some areas from HL1 got put in. The video is outdated.
Unfortunately, I've been avoiding black mesa ever since that update until xen, so I don't recognize that area.

But I do recognize what you do in HL1. Look for a vent on the rooftop. Not sure where they moved it or what it looks like, but it should still be there. Sorry I'm not more help.

I'll mark the answer as a spoiler incase someone doesn't want to see the solution:

When you are on the roof (in your second picture) run to the left of the vents and you will see two orange doors and some chairs. There is a hatch opposite, which is propped open. The snipers will shoot it shut. The hatch opens by turning the red wheel that is near.

You can either run to the wheel and try to open it before you are shot. Or alternatively, there is a set of double orange doors behind you that are barred with wood. If you walk near them the snipers will shoot them open and there will be a couple of zombies. Fight your way downstairs to find a door that lead to the rocket laucher.

kind of funny how obvious it is now that you mentioned it :D

Hopefully I will get to Xen today or tomorrow, then I got some other good games to play until its release! Except this is making me want to force my way through HL2

Big thanks, i will use that guide if i get stuck again, I havnt really needed much help but that was tough.
