We've Got Hostiles ventilation duct scene transition error

in the middle of We've Got Hostiles, after you're briefly on the surface and re-enter Black Mesa, you're crawling through a vent. when you drop down a certain shaft the next part of the level is loading, but when it is loaded you're no longer in the vent. you are outside the level and incapable of moving. this happens every time I've tried to continue

type in sv_cheats, press enter, type noclip to enable it, follow vent until you're outside, the type noclip again to deactivate

This will be because of a mod you are subscribed to. This doesn't happen in stock Black Mesa. Check your subscriptions.

I had no workshop mod subscriptions whatsoever at the time this first occurred, but I will unsubscribe from the mods and try it again

utterly bizarre... I know for a fact I wasn't subscribed to any workshop mods, yet the level I played before seemed to have been from the "uncut" vent mod since this time the vent goes pretty much straight to the security room. hm. must be losing my mind I guess, seems to work now though
