Where are the sound files located?
I can't seem to find the sounds folder for any Source game, I'm, not looking to replace them, I just wanted to preview all of them.

They are located in VPK files. You can open them with GCFScape.

You must open the file with "_dir" at the end. (for example, "bms_sounds_misc_dir.vpk")
I get this error with GCFScape when trying to open the sound.vpk files: See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

Are you sure you're opening SteamApps/common/Black Mesa/bms/bms_sounds_misc_dir.vpk with GCFScape exe?
