The heck does the "alt fire" on the Gluon gun?
Only makes him grip the handle for no real reason?

I remember someone saying there was suppose to be alternate mode for Gluon in HL but it was left out. Guess CC implemented it in BMS as a joke...

i never found out what alt does in HL1 either... it's just first now i realize and even mention it anywhere... :P

The gluon gun originally has an alt in half life but was cut (only the grip the handle animation remain). The multiplayer version is given a fake beam but that's a different story..

The Gluon Gun had 2 modes, the Wide Beam (one used in-game) and the Thin Beam (cut mode)
the Thin Beam would be less ammo eating, but at the cost of damage.

The alt fire just fidgets the weapon. Does nothing.... In fact, I kinda liked it better if Gordon is switching that handle like in the mod version.

Yeah, the Gluon Gun had 2 modes before it was cut.
