Update 1.12a broke music

So after updating I found that the music when it fades to nothing. Teleports and goes to start a new track no long is smooth. Some times the track doesn’t play at all. The music sometimes loads the wrong one and sometimes nothing happens at all. I seem to only have this problem, so far that I’ve noticed, on windows 7, and not my other PC with windows 10 on it. Any suggestions?

Interesting. Are you using MIDIs or MP3s? If the latter, I'm at a loss, for MIDIs though it's frankly an outdated format that rose due to a necessity (low memory capacity of the 80s audio and computer equipment) and which has issues on the modern operating systems.

wavs. Mp3s don't loop properly. never have seemed to. there's always a stutter or a second pause.
