Building Costs (Suggestion)
Costs for building new room, corridors etc. is ridiculously low. Once you get a million+ seller you can expand ur building almost limitlesslly, so........

How about a 15-20k grant to start ur building off, then ramp up construction costs quite high.

Or, start off at high price and discount the first 15-20k of building costs as part of a business starter package

e.g. A 5x5 room would normally cost 100k, but with 10% starter cost the room costs 10k to build. Allow the 10% cost up to a limit of 15 or 20k.

As with many games like this, once you start rolling the cash in, you run out of things to spend ur money on.

Just a thought :)

Yes,
Like e.g.: the governement supports new IT company startups and are funding x% in the beginning for building a 7x7 room. After that the price scales up.

Bump/request

Real estate taxes need to be put into the game. In the city I live in, the land tax is pretty high. Salaries and costs related to employees should be one of the largest costs. At some point, you should have to hire or put on retainer lawyers. The game is also missing sales people. We didn't sell software but we had a sales force that would talk to big customers, find out what they wanted (and the demand) and they would relay the information to marketing who would ask the designers if the ideas were feasible. The sales force was very important to us.

On that long dev phase(large OS with automation .. 18 months) I nearly went bankrupt and I was unable to sell the stocks I owned :(. My monthly nut was about $50K for everything. Took out a loan after 16 months because the balance was getting precarious ( I could only borrow $100K even though I owned stock in another company that was worth a lot. I guess that's getting fixed next...... or it's up there. :)
