FPS
I have over 1000 employees and built a huge company, I have two sky scrapers side by side. I basically have to play the game while not looking at the building because as soon as approx. 1000 people come in and out of the building I get 3 FPS.

Is there a way to make the employees dots, or invisible or something? I want to enjoy my empire but not at 3 FPS.

Edit: and yes I've tried to have half work different times but it doesn't help. It just seems as soon as there's 100 people moving at once it drops frames.

Bruv the dots aren't gonna fix the issue. The GPU is basically sleeping in this game. it's more like your CPU and RAM is suffering babe

Well I don't have a potato computer, it's a decent gaming PC. The game is just unplayable if you want a company bigger than 5 employees is that it?
There is the 'Employees on all floors' tickbox in the Optimization portion of the Graphics options, which I found to have the largest impact, but....

Yes, once you get hundreds of employees pathing around it does start to chug a bit. I haven't done rigorous empirical testing but making them go up multiple floors via stairs seems to hurt the frames more than elevators.

My current save file is approaching 1000 employees, I'd say it wasn't noticeable until 600+. If you wanna have a buttery smooth max speed you gotta do a CEO and roleplay some layoffs!

Yeah i'm currently at 1067 employees, I like when I make a project it's done quickly. I'll go renovate away the stairs.

Hopefully we get a performance upgrade at some point. Thanks for the reply anyway

when you zoom out all the way, all employess become cubes
You can offset schedules, so everyone isn't leaving and entering at once.
