Report a translation problem
It doesn't matter if everyone in the room has nothing to do. It's only an issue if some people are trying to work whilst some are idle.
Also the smaller the room the more likely it'll get loud. Hence why you have 2 people making 85dB! I have 5 people asleep in a 4x8 room and it only gets to 70dB ;)
I always have a desk berween employees too.

It's just weird that when they work which should make more noise they are at 20, when they aren't working they go to 80+.
And yes I know that room sizes change things cause there's more area to "absorb" the sound. =)
I was just looking for the explanation about why, when idle, each person adds 30 dB more then when working.
