Idea: Multiple office locations
I thought this could be implemented to helpe add depth to the game and also extend the (current) play time of each save.

How it works
It's as simple as it sounds really, you're given the ability to purchase land in different cities around the world to build more offices. Each office has it's own reports but it all feeds into the companies total worth and stats. With each location comes different perks for both employees and products.

This adds further depth, more management and by having to purchase these office plots (in major cities, being quite expensive) it is also a good way to burn through cash. This along with increased bills, depending on your city, helps balance the game.

Unintentional Bonuses/Ideas
Whilst thinking of this I also thought you could roughly mimick famous cities from around the world, with each one varying in cost.
For example:

New York City: Surrounded by TALL skyscrapers and heavy traffic.
  • Cost: $30,000,000 (Seems like a lot, but it's actually cheap for a prime office building/skyscraper plot in NY.)
  • Pros: Employees can work longer hours due to the nature of the city and 'cawfee'
  • Cons: Employees can on occasion be late to work due to the heavy city traffic. You can't expand your land outwards, only upwards.

Silicon Valley: Surrounded by other office buildings (mimicked logos perhaps?)
  • Cost: $50,000,000 (Seems like a lot, but it's actually cheap for a large plot of office space in Silicon Valley CA)
  • Pros: Younger employees with senior/intermediate level skills, lower salary.
  • Cons: Employees require a lot of recreational/leisure areas (to be implemented, i'll paste my misc furniture idea at the end of this post.) Height limit on buildings (as set by Silicon Valley Council)

The cost of the Silicon Valley plot could be significantly lower to begin with, but cost a LARGE amount to expand, making it more realistic. The NY plot however is the full price due to infinite upwards expansion.

So that's a super brief description of what I'm sort of imagining here, let me know what you think! :)

Misc/Leisure Furniture
Things like sleep pods, cafeterias, slides (stairs even), fire poles, gyms etc and maybe some more in depth architecture tools. Also the ability to place your logo (once that's implemented).

It's all SUPER out there stuff and I know it'd be low priority, but all the big tech companies have things like these. It adds more aesthetic to the game and a new way to burn through your cash so you dont end up a billion dollar company up against $2M AI's :P

Great idea for a Pro for Boston!
This is what I mean there are so many cities that could have their pros and cons

I live in Boston, so I am down for that! haha...

I also think a lot of people after the 2005's start to have there own computers, so having places for them to bring in there laptops to work on say every 1 in 6 employees have one. That might be something cool, for like a NYC perk or even Boston... Just a thought :)

Plus then, you have to worry about having a wireless connection around the building, and that would be more cost that you have to handle...

Yeah wireless networks would be a great idea! Definitely something that every office needs for their employees
