No one buys my software?
It's so annoying - I'm playing in easy mode, as I'm a total noob, and I'm making my software etc, with a team of 3 core (incl. Founder) and a separate market team with a single member, who is a proper marketer.

So I develop an "Outstanding" rating piece of software - Audio Tool - and I market it. I lose thousands as a market it, and I market it at release time fyi, and I don't make a single sale. Literally no sales. I look at my finances and everything, not a single sale was made. Does anyone know why?

There could be a few reasons. Did you look at the anticipated demand for the product when you designed it? 100% should be the target. A product can have a high demand, but there is already a product on the market (by you I think) that does the same thing and no one will want it. The 3rd possible reason is that you made the product "Open Source" which means "free". You have "sales", but no revenue. Is there a change to your reputation bar (in the green)?

I have since deleted my save file and9 I started another, and ran it in the same way, but my new one is in the millions. Yes, my products had 100%, and had Outstanding quality, and other products by other companies that were the same kind were at a much lower quality then mine - And were released years before, too.

I know what open source is, and none of my products were open source. And there was never a change in reputation.

However my new save is much different - I'm in the millions, 100% revenue etc. And making my second OS!

Products you sell don't make money the first day/month they're on the market, they start to earn the day after it. Maybe that's the pb ?

Did you set it to open source by accident? That makes it free.

the issue has been since resolved - by creating a new game.
