Education is only possible if they progress in the skill over time, giving them education points with time, which they can use to get new skills in a subskill.
On which difficulty are you playing? Because the difficulty setting is changing a lot how much experience is gained and how many points can be given in a skill when eligable for education.
In the older version that first played with, I educated my founder throughout their career almost constantly so they could max out everything, but it seems like you can't do that anymore?
I really wanted to max their skills out again among with a few others so I can have a super successful but small company, like I did on the earlier version. I really wish there was a mod or option available in the future where you can disable skill caps.
There is still the possibility to change that with console commands.
In the keybinding settings, give the "console" a key to open it.
Then select the employee, open the console and enter TOGGLE_SPEC_CAP
Is this not a thing anymore?
