Hi everyone, I'm just wondering how setting a room to "Lounge" changes its behavior. What furniture should I put in a lounge?

Also, recently I've been getting hunger complaints and I'm wondering if maybe it's because the room where the food is is set to "Lounge"...? Because I definitely have two refrigerators in there. Thanks so much!

I don't like how setting rooms works and I do not set rooms. I only set furniture for employees (of course if an employee dies or I auto hire then I have a problem). I usually keep refrigerators and coffee machines close to the employees so they don't start wandering. A toilet is close by too.

Setting a room to lounge will make employees and staff prefer it for sitting if they have nothing to do and meetings won't be held in lounges.

I throw a couch in an entryway (2x4 room) and the staff sit on that (I have two shifts of two people).

Do meetings currently serve a purpose and do lounges have any effect on employees, other than giving them a room to go to when not working?

Meetings boost motivation and skill.

Lounges were basically added to fix the issue of staff standing around in offices making noise, when they have nothing to do. However, in alpha 7 I made them seek out the nearest neutral room to stand around in, if there are no lounge available.
