What does Publisher " Operating System Exclusivity " Do?

Early on this doesn't matter, so it's good to use this publisher together with oterhs.

What if I wanted to port my software to other OS later. Will I get sued? And what if said OS I wanted to port to belong to the same publisher.

As soon as the OS is set when selecting OS exclusivity, then it's fixed and you cannot port it later on as well. I believe the only exception is, when the publisher went bancrupt and with it the exclusivity publishing deal.
