When do I make a sequel?
I made an OS and I've been upgrading the tech levels as they get unlocked but is there any indicator that I should be making a sequel? My market recognition is like 500k for OS

If you are making a "bare bones" OS without over loading interests then pump out sequels like Microsucks.

Or if you are making a real OS like UNIX, then keep it running with the newest patches until the cow kicks from milking too much.

Remember, you might have a bunch of APPS attached to the OS, so any sequel has to include those APPS as well.

You mean your Active users is 500K ? Market recognition is displayed in hearts, when the dropdown shows when hoovering over Total Fan number.

If you are doing regular OS, it is safe to release a new sequel ever 4 years. Each sequel will add (at least) 500K active users to the base pool.
BUT, if you are smart and creating Subscription based OS, it can stay longer, because attrition of Active users is less than regular CD type OS, and the profits will be much higher.

You need to make sequels to acquire more MR and more base Active users, but as I just wrote on Discord, sequels for PC OS shouldn't be done under 4 years, and no more than 5 full years.
