You can also give them a quick marketing education, but for a fully trained marketer you'll have to pay ~1200 bucks per month because of the skill increase. Still, it's really not a lot of cash, just remember to set their salary to the absolute minimum possible.
As long as you have less than 4 or 5 employees, you don't have to cater to their social need. That means you can put your first marketer in a separate team and just dump him/her in an isolated room without any team leader. They just need a snack machine, a toilet and an espresso thing somewhere in the building to be happy.
