Why add more features
What is the reason to add more features when expected interest is already at 100%. Is there any benefit if i add more, i know that 2D editor has the beautiful, which decreases refunds. But is there any other reasons, to not change the software?

I only add features to make the game harder.. The AI rarely puts out a great game so they are no competition at all. This really sucks because the games are so basic to get 100 percent interest. I wouldn't buy my own games. No voice acting, no cuts, the game has really blown it in this department for sure.

Yeah, there is really no point in adding more features beyond what's necessary to reach 100% interest.

But it seems like as long as you go with the latest tech levels the interest rates never decreases. So it never forces you to add more features over time to make up for it.

There definitely should be decreasing interest as years go by forcing you to eventually add more features (not just tech levels) so you keep above 100% interest.

There should also be (sub-)features becoming de-facto standard by a certain year or something where you don't get any interest bonus from them at all anymore and instead not having it would cause a reduction/penalty to interest in the same amount.

So eventually you'd have to increase your des/dev teams to cope for the feature creep over time.

At least currently it becomes boring after 1990 or something already because then you have all major things like 3D/Networking researched and already implemented in an OS and from then on it's just releasing the same piece of crap software over and over and over again without changing anything about it other than tech level.

Yep, completely agree. I feel like there should be standard with every piece of software that is done.

Yeah there needs to be more on the management side. Once you set up your automated teams the game just runs itself and the money poors in even on the hardest of difficulty settings. I'm curious if there are plans for additional business management stuff to do.

As far as going above 100% its' like I said in a previous post - basically the technology you are using in 1880 is different than 1990 (by year only, but affects interest). So if you add more features your game becomes more future proof. It's a double edged sword, because it also takes longer to develop. Basically only do this if you've already got high market interest in that genre and you have a large team churning out games.
