Custom Map

Hey all

had a go at clearing a map to leave just the perimeter road to just leave one big empty plot for me to build on as sale plots, obviously this isnt possible with the custom maps "rent only" limitation. so i was wandering if anyone knows how to edit a save so as to load the custom map as a rental, save it, and then edit the save to be owned

If you've managed to clear the map apart from the perimeter road you could you try using the 'GET_GENERATION_STRING' console command?
Not sure if this will give you the original seed or generate a new one though.

As for the buildings, I think if you load a rental building then right click and 'select entire building', you should be able to enter build mode, choose 'Building Blueprints' tab and 'Save Selected Rooms' with a name of your choice. You can then load that building into whatever save you wish and it should be owned instead of rented.
