How do stocks work?
So then I own 90% of another companies stock worth 88 million. Then another company buys that stock, which is technically my money, right? My share in that other company. They buy that stock from my company. But I will not recieve a penny of it, just losing all of my money and stock. Where does that money go? That is not the way it has to work, right? If a company buys that stock from me, don't I have to recieve that money from them?

You should receive the amount or value of the stock you sold, check your finance tab (the bottom part of it). The purpose of the stock is to get control to make the company a subsidiary, and owning stock will provide you with dividend earnings., or could increase in value from when you purchased it. You can sell the stock of your company, though it seems to be limited by demand in that you cant sell it all at a high price. Plus selling all your stock early on at a low price could allow an AI company to buy you thus ending your game.

Your issue of not seeing the money from owning a stock or the stock itself, could be that the company you owned 90% of went bankrupt (AI can rapidly do it) thus you would lose the stock and the money put in. Also i dont think the AI would buy your stock without you selling it in the stock tab ie you have to sell it. Any money you get from selling that stock goes straight back to you ie see your balance change. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply, but this company, lets name them Company A, didnt go bankrupt at all. They are alive and kicking with their OS system. And I also did not sell the stock that I had in them, but my share within that Company A just was bought by another company, iets name them Company B. When this Company B buys over my share which I have in Company A, I should recieve money for that because it is my share. Just like I would recieve that money if I buy that share back myself. And I do not know where that money goes, but it is not going back to me when it is bough by another party.
So if I sell owned stock myself, indeed I see that amount back on my account. But when it is bought by another company, I do not recieve anything. That is not right.
