Keeping higher active user base

Hello

so whats the way to have a higher number of active users for a software and how are we suppose to keep them with us?

i once had about 0.6 million users and they stayed with me for a long time but then all of a sudden they started to go down and all left.

Also why is it that evey single of my product review hits 8.5 and the press build says its cutting edge yet again the active users dont go very high up, also it keeps telling me that my company is not well known in the market, how am i suppose to solve that?

lastly why is it that every time i release a software one of the competitors releases the same thing?

The a thing called "Market Reconition. It says how well you products are known in each specific softwaretype market. In comes in 4 stages, Grey wich is 0, lightblue, a smiling lightblue, and Green. This impacts are sales drasticly, while blue gives you basicly nothing, just changing to Green will make you product sales skyrocket, even months after release.
If you dont realease a products for a long time, you reconition will go down again.
It achso affect how many people will follow your product during development

its very likely a competetor released an products wich is better/has more features/has more marketing.

On the bottum right of "Market", theres the "upcoming releases" interface, it shows when your competitors will release there new products. In helpful in the realy game, but once you have an smiling green face it doesnt matter anymore.

so bascially i have to keep releasing a same type of software till my recognition goes up?

Exactly, it will usally be 2-4 great+ products, from then you just need to make sure not to fall again, since the difference between blue and green is like an x5 Sales muliplier
