My product has run out of potential customers
This happens to me for a reason I can't figure out. I make sure that my software is portable with each of the most popular OS. It's doing really well, selling hundreds of thousands of copies a month, and it goes from 150 000 unit sales a month to 0 and I can't figure out why other than the fact that it says "This product has run out of potential customers." Can somebody shed some light?

it normally means that you have sold one copy for every computer that runs supported operating systems and that there are literally no other computers in the virtual world of Software Inc. that can buy a copy as the market is 100% saturated.

click on the details of your software, check the consumer reach figure (which is at the bottom of the list top right of the window that begins "active users", "quality", "marketing" etc.), the number should be the same as units sold.

as an example my current game which has made me 128,603,500 has consumer reach of 2,297,557 and has sold 2,161,744 which means i can only sell another 135,813 copies before literally everyone in the virtual world has bought a copy of the game.

Thank you for this answer. Makes total sense but it blew my mind to have a product that make 25 mil consistently suddenly goto $0 the next month. Wow. This is my first play through.
