Keeping Servers Cool
is it possible to keep servers cooler than 40 C because it doesn't matter what I do they still overheat and cause me problems. Also any way to reduce risk of overheat and breaking whole systems?

In the Server Tab of the Build Menu is a cooling fan. it is sufficent to cool my servers.

I know about the cooling fans, but they don't do that much imo because my servers still keep going down if I have like 50+ placed around each other for maximum space usage. Sadly the only way to solve it is to space out the Servers

pro tip: 10 servers per room. 20 max. and build 1-5 server coolers not the original.
or buy a A/C unit.

so basically I should have around 15 servers per room and like 2 ACs for the best cooling

I'm curious what your setup is, because I have 50+ servers jammed into a basement room with just central air conditioning on the roof. I've yet to have a cooling issue. Are you sure your A/C units aren't overloading in the building? Or are you above ground with no A/C at all? Are there radiators for heat inside the room with the servers? Inquiring minds want to know.

If your going basement your going to have a bad time because at a certain point everything just goes downhill and you might lose everything. For the Building I had almost 200 servers in one Building putting in as much cooling as possible, but they still kept crashing often causing me problems. I would say the pro tip by iDub up there is the safest way to take it. Though I don't know if there is a difference between 1 AC and 1 Ventelator between more of them. Also, I put servers in a different building that is not included with my Employees, but you can place Printing and Servers together. Also, I see the ACs only being good in small scale server units and having ventalators a bit better, but until there is anything said by the developer I am not sure which is optimal. Also, when i had almost 200 the ACs were overloaded I think but I halved the amount so now its fine.

Well, I'm not the one with overheating problems on my servers. They've been there for nearly 20 years without any problems, and this isn't my first, or even second saveed game. It's just how I've always done it since I started playing. I have problems with the early servers because they're above ground using the cooling vents, but never once a problem using A/C units that weren't overloaded, regardless of where the servers were in the buildling. Never tried 200 servers though, maybe that's the difference. Right now I have 57 servers in a big basement room with no physical cooling inside the room and they're not having any problems with around 40% loads.

One more thing I might add is I am using the mod in which servers are a lot better because I don't want to spam a ton of servers to get like 1 Tb so that might also cause a problem.

Could be. The mod might also modify temperatures? I don't use that mod so I wouldn't be able to answer that question.

actually checked the mod out and it turns out they created a special cooler for the servers :/

Holy crap those things run hot! I just did some testing with those serverrs. You're right, even dedicated A/C units won't really cool them. To be honest, though, I don't really see the purposein them. $1,000,000 each server and then a cooling solution, is it really better than the large server racks? I have 43 clustered as a single server for my digital distribution and the room is the same size (the same room as the other 14 servers for a total of 57) and is cooled by the same A/C units as the rest of the 3 story building uses. 2.2Tb of bandwidth and I have plenty to spare for what I'm doing, which might not be the same thing you're doing (obviously).

I guess it just gonna be easier on IT guy.

Tried to make having a lot of servers work but i pay like 8-15mil in costs so yeah D:
