The Press release gives a very low fan boost.
Maybe it's based on how many fans you have or something.
Not sure how it works.
But i have notised that the more intrest you gather for your product the higher the first sale is.
Since the press release only brings in a small amount of followers, IDK if it's even worth it. Seems like the press build is free and takes no marketing time yet offers a bigger benefit.
I'm in the 90's and what got me interested is few other companies that just started up with only 1 product, yet they've made 1 or 2 millions copies of operating system.
Perhaps there's something to do with price, or they've started marketing from the very beginning and just keeps anouncing.. I'll try to see how it'd work.
About press builds, I spam that button everyday after my product reaches ~75% of recommended codings/arts. I don't see the negative impact of doing this, I get lots of followers this way (lol), although there will be limit on how many new followers you will get after spamming it so much.
