Team Automation help
When I was a noob I hired all my employees personally until I discovered HR automation...

Now It completely hires what I tell him to hire, educate my employees correctly and hire employees from different specializations.

Software Inc. was fun, but it was more fun with the Hardware mod, so I installed it, started a new game etc.

but as I play along and got HR I noticed that the specializations progress bar on Physical (the new specialization that the Hardware mod introduces) was slower than the rest but I just thought maybe it's just supposed to be that way...

As I expanded and eventually got a better building and got more employees, The Physical progress didn't go faster like you would while getting more employees with that specialization however the other specializations got even faster so I thought to myself if it was the HR management automation which was the problem

PS:
I made sure that I didn't have that many employees which would have an opposite effect and produce more bugs and make progress on everything slower.

So:
-Does HR Management hire employees with specializations coming from different mods or is this a problem on the mod itself??


I still haven't explored much into the game and I'm still exploring more into the automation things.

Now what I did test then was HR but I have yet to test out the Project Management so while on the topic of automation I figured to ask in here than accidentally do something wrong on the Project Management and completely make the worst Products ever known to Software Inc.

So questions:

-What does Time v Innovation, Time v Quality,and Budget v Quality do exactly?

-Does normal Marketing (marketing without the automation) exceed $7,500?
if so can I set my automated Marketing budget higher than $7,500?

-How does Use Own Licences work?

-How does Only Sequels work?

-What is a Support Team?

I believe the developer is working on finishing the game so he doesn't have time to write mods. Mods are the products of the fans so I can't tell you the interactions. I do know that I have 2 mods in my library that do not even work with this version of the game. For now, take mods with a grain of salt and even the game itself. Not all of the problems are ironed out but Alpha 9 is coming soon ! We are test players, testing what is written so far and giving feedback so the game is awesome upon release.

Time v Innovation
to get better innovation, you need more time to develop software
to get software done sooner, you must sacrifice innovation

Time v Quality
to get better quality, you need more time to develop software
to get software done sooner, you must sacrifice quality

Budget v Quality
to get better quality, you need spend more money
to spend less money, you will get less quality software

nope, i forgot the exact number, but it is nope.

-How does Use Own Licences work?
ask your team to develop software using your own product.
as an example, to build a game, you need game engine, your team gonna chose to use your own game engine, so you aint gonna pay licences to other company.

-How does Only Sequels work?
build only sequel version of software.
as an example, you got widow 1, widow 2, widow 3. your team gonna build its sequel, widow 4

-What is a Support Team?
post release team, after you build software, costumer gonna need support. this gonna be different on alpha 9

I can't find anything in the code that would make HR educate less in modded specializations. However, they might be slower to increase if there aren't much work in those specific categories compared to others, but that shouldn't affect education.

That was spot on, though Time v Innovation, Time v Quality, Budget v Quality and Marketing max budget is removed in alpha 9.

That was spot on, though Time v Innovation, Time v Quality, Budget v Quality and Marketing max budget is removed in alpha 9.

I guess it's just that way for Physical specialization I guess...or a mod mistake possibly but, who knows?

I guess asking about Project Management was a waste then...although I do expect that it will be somehow similar since after making sense of what they do, they seem required for project management...
