Digital Distribution - Store Cut?
Hi,

So I've made a Digital Distribution Store, and I've got 100% market share, but making a loss (internet cost > sales) which is fine.

Except - under distribution I have the following:

- Digital store + £xxx,xxx
- Store Cut - £xxx,xxx

My rates vary from 8% - 20%.. I don't get what this 'Store Cut' is? I assume this is MY cut... so why, if I'm selling products, am I losing money on this?

If someone sells a product at £100 and i have a cut of 10% it should look like this right?
(£100 x 1 = £90 (for product owner) + £10 (store, me) not (£100 x 1 = £100 - £10?)

Last month I sold £478,129 in the digital store, but the store cut was £388,077) leaving me with £90,052 profit from distribution overall. Minus my internet cost, I made a loss of over £1million.

Is store cut my cut?
Is Digital Distribution broken? Or is it programmed to make a loss no matter what?

I thought it's probably a "cut" for my own digital sales, which makes no sense btw. It's confusing.

I think it's a cut of sales the "Physical store takes from your sales.

Store Cut is the physical store share from selling your software, aka real life. Seems to be close to 30% of all revenue generated from sales

Digital store is the amount of money you earned from your digital distribution, which will always be profit. But you won't make tons till digital distribution has 50%+ share
