Hi.. I just saw this post at the bottom of a recent thread, so people don't answer both posts, can you please go and edit that post and remove it?

Anyway.... I'm currently at work, so hopefully I can get this right

#1 - OK, lets say you have a team of 10 support staff + 1 leader (11 in total). In the HR screen you will see a salary figure, e.g. 2k pay x 10 = 20k (I'm not sure if this includes the leader or not, don't think so). Under that there is a BUDGET value you enter - this is the total monthly budget the leader has - say you put in a budget 30k. 20k of that is going out on salary, so the leader will have 10k left for the month.

Below the budget are boxes to set the maximum number of people in the team , if you only want 10 people, then put 10, if you want more put a higher number - if you put 20 - then that will be 20x2k pay = 40k salary - but your budget is only 30k - so the leader won't hire all 20 people, only up to the budget.

Side note - I believe the budget is also used for education - so if you want people educated as well, then you will need more budget.

#2 - Hmm, not 100% sure on this, I've just left the value as default - At the moment I'm manually sending people to class because I have no idea what this actually does. I might need to test it - I suspect though it might be a setting in months between sending people to class - so if set to 3, then every 3 months the leader will send someone to class... How, and WHO it picks is unknown. Would love the dev to explain more on this section

#3 - PM is different from leaders. You need to create a project and then select which Leader you want to run the project, this could be an existing leader of another team (e.g. support leader) or a new leader dedicated to the project - no idea what the pro/con is of each in this case. After selecting the leader you select the teams you want working on the project - I would suggest you set up a dedicated development team for the project, but use your existing support & marketing teams.

When the PM is set up, you now need to give it something to create - go to the design document and design a new product - e.g. Audio Tool - pick the basic minimum options you want, but now instead of assigning teams to the product as you normally do, you should see a "Project Management" button at the bottom, click this and select the project management you just created... Then leave the leader to get on with it!!!, depending on the options you selected in the PM screen, they should deal with the hype, PR, support etc.

#4 - As far as I know, there is no sort of management goals. If there is, I've not found them.

Hope this helps

As far as I know, the way you described it is correct. A positive number will add that amount of gap between sending people to class. I think a negative number does the opposite (so a -1 sends someone to class 1 month before the last person comes back), but I still need to do tests on this to figure out exactly what it's doing for the guide I'm writing. It might just make it so it sends 1+abs(value) of people to class at any one time.

Related, the education slider above it sets how far you want them to be educated. All the way up keeps sending them off until all the skills in their role are maxed, half-way will educate them only until they get past that point, etc.

Thanks for confirming these, I'll try and do some tests in my current game, I just keep forgetting and manually sending support to class when things are quite in the office. Wasn't sure what the other slider did either.

Dev - Care to explain?
