How do i assign furniture to peeps?

HOW DO I MOVE EMPLOYEES FROM ONE COMPUTER TO ANOTHER!!!?!!?

First, make sure he ist already bound to an Computer.
Second, rightclick the Computer (or Furniture), and select "assign to Employee" on the top right, OR wait until your employee goes to the computer, and then rightclick and choose "Assign used furniture to employee"

I have this same question, but when I right click a computer there is not option to "assign to Employee". Same for chair, table, phone. I've assigned the room to Marketing, but the Marketing lady isn't working there. As far as I know, nobody has been "assigned" a work station by me yet. Suggestions?

There is the option, a screen with an name list of all you employees will appear on the left, select wich one you want. Achso, Table, Plants etc cant be assigned, but things like Water Dispenser and Vending machines can be.
For the Marketing, next to Build Mode buttom are the Options to "Show Roomlabels" and "Show Furniture assigned to employees", assigned furniture will be red, and above your room should be a "Marketing" Label. Achso make sure that you employee doesnt have to walk through already limited rooms, since they will NEVER walk through, for example, a leaders room

On mine, the chair with the (+) symbol is marked "Duplicate".

Also on mine, next to the build buttons I have only seven: Up/Down One Floor, Toggle Walls, Data Overlay, Toggle Lamps, Room Labels, and Wire Mode.

I would include a screenshot, but I've yet to figure out how to add those to a post in the Steam client.

It should be noted I am not in the "Beta" version (at least i don't think i am), as I just bought the game yesterday and am still trying to figure a lot of it out. Perhaps these features have not yet been added to the public release?

Yes, you are playing Alpha 8, and those features where implemented in Alpha 9, wich should reach Puplic Release soon (even trough you can already play it).
For posting Screenshots, just upload it, set it to puplic, and then click "view online". Then you just need to post the URL here.
