Exanima 0.9.0.5 changelog:

  • Player vitals are now hidden unless:

    • In combat mode

    • The power bar is displayed

    • A power is used or attempted

    • Damage is taken or stamina is regenerating

    • You inspect your character by clicking on it


  • All procedural weapons throughout the game are now fully randomised

  • Undead in Gentry are "fresher" and more competent fighters

  • Strikes and Shell powers now persists when exiting and continuing

  • Solved various shadow quality issues introduced by recent changes

  • Many content fixes


Exanima 0.9.0.4 changelog:

• 3D Grass now casts shadows from most lights on High Shadows Detail

• Improved 3D grass shading

• Changing Shadow Detail setting no longer requires restart to take effect

• Made AI a little less likely to flee

• Fixed a hang when opening inventory while switching weapons

• Fixed possessed characters refusing equipment upgrades

• Fixed Iteration skill technique not working with some inputs

• Fixed an issue with rooms sometimes fading out twice

• Fixed split dialogue utterances not formatting correctly

• Fixed tokens not working if placed in a container and leaving it open

• Fixed a common cause of errors during combat in some locations

• Fixed objects near archways sometimes not being lit properly

• Reduced save game file sizes

• Added missing collision sounds to many objects

• Added selection feathering for gates and portcullises

• Fixed incorrect grip on the Awl Pike

• Early game crude two handed swords are now procedural

• Fixed a potential cause of errors when losing consciousness

I'm still having crashes when entering the new area. I've validated game files but it throws at least 2-3 error messages and then crashes before I can read them. Love the rest of the new update. Slowly working on Force Thaum after getting the Necromancy build again (It's just soooo fun)

Sorry to hear that. We are working on further fixes though this seems to have been fixed for other people who were experiencing it. The version number on my main menu says 0.8.4c?
I'm pretty sure I'm updated since its on automatic updates in my properties for Exanima.

I'm not opted into any beta participation. Does it say v0.9.0.3 on your menu?

I'm gonna reinstall and see if that does it.

NEVERMIND a clean reinstall did it

I experienced some of these bugs this week, mostly about loosing balance and golems. It's great to see that they have been patched this quickly!
